Alongside other Protro models like the Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Black Metallic Gold” and the Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Triple White,” the Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Venice Beach” is expected to arrive Summer 2024.
The “Venice Beach” colorway is inspired by one of LA’s most iconic beaches, known for its graffiti and streetball amongst the surf and sand as the ultimate cross-section of west coast culture. This sneaker first released in 2013, making the 2024 iteration the first Protro edition.
The upper has a “Stadium Grey” base with graffiti-inspired streaks in shades of Orange and “Tour Yellow.” The engineered mesh allows for maximum airflow, while also providing stability that is supported by the sneaker’s full-length drop-in midsole featuring Lunarlon technology for lightweight cushioning.
