The Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Black Mamba” Arrives Holiday 2023

Earlier this summer Nike relaunched its Kobe line in celebration of Kobe Bryant’s legacy and his beloved performance basketball line. While silhouettes including the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Reverse Grinch” have already been revealed to be releasing, the Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Black Mamba” is the latest to be expected this year, per Sneaker Files.

Following a mock-up from Sneaker Files, we now have our first look at the upcoming Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Black Mamba”. Taking inspiration from the Black Mamba himself, this offering sports a sleek “Black” upper elevated with faux snakeskin accents on the overlay, collar, and profile Swooshes. A contrasting “University Gold” hit appears on Kobe’s signature emblazoned on the TPU heel counter, while Kobe’s emblem in black on the tongue and his number “24” debossed on the heels help round out the final design cues.
