Nike Basketball has dipped into their vault for their current signature athletes such as LeBron James and the same now goes for Kevin Durant as KD has been teasing a retro for a bit now. Looks like it’s sooner than we thought as official photos arrive of the Nike KD 3 which is scheduled to drop in 2023 for the first time since 2011.
The sneaker uses mesh in Champagne on the base of the sneaker with white leather overlays throughout. Flywire is utilized in the forefoot for a lockdown fit with Metallic Gold seen on the KD logo on the tongue and border of the Swoosh seen on the lateral side with the medial side seen in the same hue. The video game controller-inspired design element on the heel is seen in gold as well. The white Phylon midsole features forefoot Zoom Air with a milky translucent outsole finishing off the sneaker.
