Later tonight the Los Angeles Lakers will retire Kobe Bryant‘s 8 and 24 jerseys in honor of his iconic 20-year career. Bryant, among a small and esteemed group of players with two jerseys retired, is the only player with two retired by the same team.

Nike is commemorating this special moment with an Air Force 1 iD that uniquely odes to Bryant and his legendary career.

Exploring a snake skin-like black upper to pay tribute to his Black Mamba famous alias, Bean’s number 8 and 24 mark each heel in Lakers gold joining a drop shadow Swoosh that adds dimension to the paneling. Eight stars are perched at the tongue of each shoe, which when added to together sum the Lakers total number of championships. The AF1 iD will release alongside commemorative jerseys and a set of incredible tees.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium iD “Kobe” will be available at Nike.com at tipoff of tonight’s Lakers vs. Warriors game, approximately 7:30pm PT. Additionally, the tees drop fittingly at 8:24pm PT on Nike.com and are available at select retailers in the Los Angeles area.
