Capitalizing on the success of the TW’13, Nike has introduced the FI Impact. The Nike Golf FI Impact features a Free-inspired outsole that provides extreme flexibility and freedom of movement with maximum ground feel.
Nike designers teamed up with Suzann Pettersen to create the first Free-Inspired footwear for women.
“We collaborated closely with Pettersen to create a shoe fit for her game,” said Lee Walker, Nike Golf’s Footwear Product Director. “The FI Impact allows her to get the transfer of energy her game demands, proving even a swing as powerful as Pettersen’s can utilize the performance of Integrated Traction.”
The FI Impact’s Free-Inspired outsole is designed to conform to the natural motion of the foot while providing all the impact protection and traction of a lightweight performance golf shoe. This also aids in more control and power with every shot for golfers like Pettersen.
After I tried them once, I was dying to get them on my feet in competition,” expressed Pettersen. “I can really feel the ground and the increase in power through my swing.”
Nike also incorporated the Nike Dynamic Fit system to help harness the foot in the men’s version of the FI Impact.
The Nike FI Impact will be available for both men and women on August 1 in multiple colorways.
