Earlier this year, Nike brought back its Field General ‘82 silhouette. Now with the warmer days ahead, the Swoosh will be dropping the pair in a classic “Black/White” colorway.
As its name alludes, the model originally debuted in 1982 as a turf shoe for Nike quarterbacks including Archie Manning and Dan Fouts. Sporting an OG outfit, the pair additionally pays homage to its original release by boasting a nylon mesh and leather construction. The timeless model is anchored in black allowing the white Swooshes, heels, and tongue branding to stand out. Lastly, the pair is rounded out with a black rubber sole unit and waffle-patterned outsole.
