Every now and then, a shoe comes out just for the kids that makes adults want to revisit their youth again. Towards the end of 2009, it was the Air Jordan 12 Black/Purple, and now it is this pack of “Year of the Tiger” Nike Dunks. Black leather makes up the upper’s toe, forefoot and heel panels. Matching those are the laces, liner, outsole and tongue in various materials. Filling in the remainder of the upper are multiple patches of furry “tiger-striped” materials, which don’t look exactly like the big cat’s fur but are close enough, mixing in tans browns and blacks. Finally, the yellow gold Swoosh finishes the shoes off. As stated above, these are for kids only, but the ladies and younger generation may have an opportunity to make these work. |
