Nike has yet another timeless shoe set to drop this month with the arrival of the Nike Daybreak Armory Blue. The Swoosh has been launching many new colorways of heritage silhouettes and this newest addition continues the strong push. A rejuvenation of the 1979 model, this model definitely brings old school vibes as we move towards the years end.
Arriving with a dual-toned constructed from two different shades of Blue with White accents, this model has understated style. A close recreation of the original, the upper is built from nylon and suede accents with an Obsidian leather swoosh. The nylon portions of the shoe are dipped in Light Armory Blue while the suede aspects echo the swoosh’s Obsidian. A White mesh liner combines with flat White laces and a Sail midsole to provide a touch of luxury. Nike branding features in Obsidian capitals along the White heel tab & a classic Black waffled outsole, which has seen a rebirth in recent years, rounds off this model.
Though this pair has already dropped in a few countries, we will see them land on December 16th stateside for $100. The pair will be available on the Nike website as well as from a host of retailers. We can definitely see this colorway being a hit with people the world over and being fitted out in variety.
