Following the Nike Challenger Green/Ink we showed you at the top of the week, we now have spotted the fifth Nike Challenger of the year. Who else applauds Nike for releasing this sneaker in multitudes considering its the 30th-year-anniversary for this classic?
The latest Nike Challenger features more of a subtle color scheme than the previous pairs we have seen this year. Its base is colored in dark obsidian and comprised of open mesh (toe box), nylon (side panels) and faux suede (predominance of the base). Minimal white hints, such as the swoosh, shoelaces and inner lining give this shoe nice color blocking, while a black waffle sole completes this Nike runner. Available now at Crooked Tongues.
