Ahead of an exciting 2018-19 NBA season — one where LeBron James will suit up for the first time in Los Angeles — Nike is making the most of its restored league partnership by outfitting some of its most storied silhouettes in NBA branding and team affiliations.
Among the more anticipated is this Nike Blazer Mid “LA vs. NY” edition.
Playing on a coastal theme that pins that Los Angeles Lakers against the New York Knicks, the NBA assisted shoe is also unique in that it helps rollout an all-new Blazer Mid. Taking the deconstructed tongue from Virgil Abloh’s “The Ten” iteration, this sartorially effective update appears undone with its interior colored in blue and purple. Much like the mid-cut style then appears in black, outside of its white Swoosh branding which matches the whimsical “LA” and “NY” graphics at the heel.
Release details for this budding Blazer Mid have not yet been detailed. Stay tuned for more.
