Nike Adds To The “Move To Zero” Line With The Blazer Mid ’77

Nike introduced “Move to Zero” in 2019 in their efforts to move to zero waste and carbon with sneakers such as the Space Hippy line and Cosmic Utility, and Nike has added another Blazer Mid ’77 to the sustainability efforts.

The upper uses a variety of raw and synthetic materials; suede is used on the front half of the shoe and the lace overlays and heel tab, while a transparent ripstop material makes up the rest of the upper. A black pebbled leather Swoosh is utilized, and the “Move to Zero” logo is seen underneath the ripstop on the lateral heel. A deconstructed tongue with orange accenting complete the upper with Nike’s recycled Grind material outsole is seen through the icy blue midsole.

The Nike Blazer Mid ’77 “Move to Zero” will retail for $100 on Nike.com and select retailers with a drop date that is still unknown. Keep up to date on drops through our Sneaker Release Date page, and check out the official images below.
