GDP took a cue from Prince for his Bespoke Air Force 1, hitting up the design studio at 21 Mercer for multiple ways to rain purple on his Nikes. We see a lot of AF1s get churned out in a variety of styles, but right off the back, anyone who is a fan of purple will recognize these as a very clean take on what is possible with the Bespoke program. Canvas composes the majority of these, as it’s used along the laces and on the toe box and topside of the toe. The mid-panel that backs up the white Swoosh is made with a slightly darker shade of purple in nubuck, while the suede on the heel portion is almost lavender. 3M completes the look, appearing on the tongue and heel portions.
