While many new hoops specific releases as of late have utilized the “opening night” moniker to signify colorways players will wear in their respective first games of the 2015-16 season, Nike Basketball takes it a step further with their official “Opening Night” Pack.
Consisting of new editions of the Nike LeBron 13, Nike Kobe 10 and Nike KD 8, each style adorns modern expressions of their team colors. The Nike LeBron 13 – what many initially thought to be this year’s “Cork” edition – employs a wine colored upper with cork details at the tongue and heel.
The Nike Kobe 10 boldly unifies Flyknit technology with Lakers home coloring over a speckled black midsole encapsulated by translucent casing. Lastly, but certainly not least, the Nike KD 8 leans on a graphic upper which juxtaposes an intermixed skyline and city map depicting Oklahoma City with the DMV.
