In The Details: The Nike Air Presto
As mentioned previously, the Nike Air Presto would hit retailers during the year 2000. Created in mind to look similar to an Apple Imac G3, the Air Presto fused a form-fitting upper, with a neoprene lining and a side lace cape paneling providing further lockdown support for consumers.
Although shoe sizing is traditionally configured through numerical system, the Air Presto was constructed through a “XXXS-XXXL” run, further reinforcing the notion of being a “t-shirt for your feet.”
