Without fail, Nike’s retro of its Air Max2 Light was an immediate success.
Best worn by women for which men often find inspiration, the fairer sex first adopted the sneaker and men were sure to follow. The trend has moved upwards to celebrities and the like, including and especially LeBron James.
The King, though, isn’t nearly the only sneakerhead looking to fill its spring rotation with the elder Air Max style. This upcoming “Habanero Red” iteration will be one that many angle to get their hands on. Considering how many pairs are likely to be produced, it should be relatively easy to score a shoe that isn’t necessarily technically speaking hyped but just as good as any hyped shoe.
