Nike continues to expand its “M. Frank Rudy” range dedicated to the aerospace engineer who created Nike’s Air technology, which went on to change the footwear industry. Along with the demure Air Max 90, the Vapormax 2021, and this iteration of the Air Max 97, the Swoosh will also be adding an Air Max Scorpion to the collection.
Unlike the other offerings in Nike’s “M. Frank Rudy” range that have surfaced thus far in clean, neutral colorways, the Nike Air Max Scorpion “M. Frank Rudy” sports a predominately “Racer Blue” and “Game Royal” woven upper accented with contrasting “Safety Orange” and “Team Gold” on the profile Swooshes and tongue branding. Rounding out the final design cues is a bulbous orange sole unit emblazoned with “2022”.
