This year, Nike is delivering a waterproof Air Max Plus equipped with Cordura’s water-resistant fabric. Recently, Nike has up the ante on silhouettes that offer protection from the elements, as we’ve seen with their “Toasty” collection.
The offering is covered in an all-black upper composed of suede and a carmelized gradient lace cage. Additionally, black and gold hues reappear on the tongue, eyelets, and overlays. Highlighting the pair is a leather tongue with hints of 3M detailing. Other details include a Nike and Air Max branding on the tongue, lateral side, and heel. For the finishing touches, the silhouette rests atop a black sole with matching gold Air bubbles.
