LeBron’s future in Cleveland is in doubt, as speculation continues to rise about where he’ll play next season. A move to New York may raise his superstar status, but cold likely set back his hunt for a ring by a few years. And if rumor mills weren’t doing enough to further said speculation, this Nike Air Max LeBron VII Low is sure to make things worse. This Low uses a very similar colorway to the regular version we saw LBJ wear with the Cavs’ Hardwood Classics jerseys a few weeks ago. This pair may use the old school Cleveland color palette, but make no mistake about it–these were created to pay tribute to LeBron’s fanhood of the city of New York. Blue perforated pigskin makes up the upper, while a white liner matches up with the midsole. Orange accents on the tongue match the stripe on the upper, outsole and laces speckles. The most important design element for this pair is definitely the underside bubble though, where “I [Lion logo] NY” appears. LeBron’s future may be left to speculation, but then again, so is the release of this pair. |
