ebay.comNike has given us innovative sneakers in recent history with the Nike ISPA Road Warrior and the Matthew M Williams x Nike Zoom MMW 4, and it’s introducing a new sneaker into the mix, the Nike Air Max Furyosa NRG.
The Air Max Furyosa takes inspiration from the Nike Zoom Spiridon, Air Max 97, and other Air Max models and throws them together into this futuristic sneaker. White mesh with silver and black overlays make up the upper that uses an internal bootie construction. In addition to the traditional laces, an additional lacing system is added from the toebox to the heel. A heel tag with Nike Alpha Project’s 5 dots adorned on one side with the Swoosh on the other.
The standout feature is the double-stacked Air Max unit in the heel, completely separated from the forefoot midsole. Nike’s Grind rubber, which uses a multitude of scrap and manufacturing materials, is utilized on the outsole.
