To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Air Max BW, Nike is set to release a city pack honoring the hottest cities in the world. To kick things off, the Swoosh finds inspiration from the Netherland’s second-biggest city, Rotterdam.
This Nike Air Max BW “Rotterdam” sports the city’s signature colors of black and green, the former which is seen through the silhouette’s denim, leather, and mesh upper, while the latter arrives on the tongue, inner liner, Swoosh logo, midsole, and translucent outsole. Elevating the sneaker’s overall look are geometric-graphic insoles and “220 BPM” as a reference to hardcore music. Finally, the city’s name is spotlighted in all caps on the heels.
