The Nike Air Max BW returns and gets dressed for Spring in tonal pastels. It seems like Nike‘s Air Max roster continues to grow with new models each year, so we’re happy to see a throwback silhouette resurface. Hopefully 2022 will provide more a lot more Air Max BWs to choose from.
This sneaker has a “Light Stone” knitted mesh base that is secured with suede overlays in lavender and “Coconut Milk.” Although the Nike Air Max BW pre-dates a lot of the popular Air Maxes, you can see a mix of design elements from other models. The Air Unit midsole is borrowed from the Air Max 90, while the overlays look as though they would build into those of the Air Max 97. The heel counter has a “Jade Stone” color that corresponds with the outsole. The eyestays have a pastel pink outline with complementary laces. Finishing details include rubberized elements on the Nike Swoosh and Air Max branding.
