Nike is bringing back the Air Max 90 Surplus and instead of the military vibes used previously, it uses a tonal grey look.
Using different materials and shades of grey throughout, with mesh on the base and overlays, suede on the mudguard, and a darker grey leather utilized on the Swoosh and heeltab. A Pink Salt Fuse accent is seen around the toebox, with the tongue tag dropping the patch typically seen for an oval debossed logo featuring Surplus branding. Rope laces are utilized instead of flat laces, with pulltabs on the tongue featuring a pocket and the heel utilizing a pulltab as well. Dark grey is seen again on the midsole and wedge, with a lighter grey seen on the outsole.
