This year, we have already seen the re-releases of classic running sneakers such as the Nike Air Max 97 Original Colorway and the Nike Air Max 95 ?Team Orange?. However, the retro release of this Nike Air Max 1 OG may be the best of them all. Originally released in 1987, this sneaker became an instant classic and set the standard for many sneakers designs today. For example, the Air Max 1 became the first running sneaker to go in the opposite direction of the ever-so-present neutral-colored, basic colorways seen on most athletic shoes. It contains a predominately grey base with multiple sport red sections throughout the upper. The Air Max 1 also became the first shoe to possess visible Air technology.
