This year’s Nike Air Max Day celebrates the 35th Anniversary of the Air Max 1 throughout 2022 and we get a first look at the “La Ville Lumière” colorway dropping later this month.
This Air Max 1 is dressed in a White, Neutral Grey, Metallic Silver, and Black color blocking. It’s mesh, leather and suede surrounds frame it in simple white and bone hues before a bold pop of navy blue at the nylon tongue makes itself known. It also celebrates Paris, the city of light, with “La Ville-Lumière” text, “Spring 2022” and March 26th – the date the Air Max 1 debuted in ’87 – stamped onto the insoles, translucent outsole, box and its tissue paper to completes the design.
