With Air Max Day just around the corner, Nike is readying an Air Max 1 “Evolution of Icons” for sneakerheads around the world. The upcoming pair celebrates Nike’s Air Technology, which has been an integral part of the brand’s DNA since being incorporated into the label’s footwear silhouettes back in 1978.
This forthcoming Nike Air Max 1 “Evolution of Icons” pays homage to past Air Maxes, which is literally spotlighted on the insoles. In terms of construction, the pair arrives with a leather build with grey-toned suede overlays dressing the mudguard. Final details include the debossed “3.26” appearing on the left heel.
The Nike Air Max 1 “Evolution of Icons” is set to release on March 26, Air Max Day. The pair will drop at select Nike retailers and Nike.com for $140.
