UPDATE (06/10):

The Nike Air Force 1 “Puerto Rico” is canceled. The Puerto Rican flag on the shoe’s tongue is backward due to a misprint.

This one is for all the Boricuas out there.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low is a timeless silhouette that we’re all familiar with — whether Nelly, A$AP Rocky, or Jay-Z put you on.

The AF1 isn’t afraid to show love to Puerto Rico and its rich culture. The intersection of the AF1, New York, and Puerto Rico is worth nothing as sneaker legends such as Fat Joe and Bobbito Garcia have been the faces of PR’s significance in sneaker culture. While this upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low “Puerto Rico” isn’t a collab, it’s still important to show respect to the game’s OGs.

The shoe hones a predominantly white upper as a blue outsole, and inline gives the shoe a pop of color.  The storytelling detail falls on the tongue and heel as the Puerto Rican flag adorns the pair in a classic look. Take a look at the AF1 below, and let us know if you’re looking forward to these.
