Nike Korea is celebrating its 5th anniversary for SNKRS later this month and to celebrate, a South Korean-exclusive colorway of the Nike Air Force 1 Low is dropping for the anniversary which is inspired by Korean street food tents and stalls called Pojangmachas.

The sneaker uses a white leather base with a peppery red which looks to be inspired by tteokbokki or spicy rice cakes with the lace dubraes and Nike branding on the tongue tag seen in green, inspired by scallion which is typically used as a garnish on the popular dish. The heeltab is seen in white with the rear heeltab seen in the same peppery red made from canvas, which is typically used on the tents and stalls of pojangmachas. The insole features graphics of tteokbokki and fish cakes respectively with a Sail midsole and outsole finishing off the sneaker.

The Nike Air Force 1 “Pojangmacha” is set to drop on September 25th exclusively on SNKRS Korea. Check out the photos below and for all the latest drop dates, head over to our Sneaker Release Dates page.
