To go along with the recently revealed Air Max 90 “Griffey,” Nike is also set to release an Air Force 1 Low “Ken Griffey Jr. & Sr.” as part of a sneaker range dedicated to the baseball greats.
This special-edition Nike Air Force 1 Low “Ken Griffey Jr. & Sr.” boasts a white leather base accented with mismatch blue and gold accents behind the tongues that nod to the Seattle Mariners, where the father-son duo played together for two seasons back in 1990 and 1991. To further its homage, the pair sport an embroidered “24” graphic on the lateral heel of the left shoe, while the right heel gets marked with “30.” Finally, “JR” and “SR” branding also appear on the back of each heel and on the insoles.
