Anime has had a long influence on pop culture, providing inspiration for various entertainment and of course, sneakers. In its latest iteration, the Nike Air Force 1/1 is finished with all-over animated graphics.
Typically, the Air Force 1 is known for its clean, minimalistic uppers (“White on White” anyone?). But this “Nike and the Mighty Swooshers” edition features various animated graphics, including images of different animated characters. The lateral Nike Swoosh arrives as an extension to the main profile, while each panel displays a different anime print. A pink girl in a spacesuit appears on the lateral side, while the Goddess of Victory Nike is displayed on the medial side. A white midsole and blue outsole finishes off the design.
Look for the Nike Air Force 1/1 “Nike and the Mighty Swooshers” to release sometime this year through Nike.com. One of the wildest designs to hit the AF1, definetely be on the lookout for this pair to shock the sneaker game. Take a look at photos below.
