The Nike Adapt Huarache is the latest step for Nike’s auto-lacing movement.
Following in the footsteps of the HyperAdapt 1.0 and Adapt BB, the Adapt Huarache plays off the sock-styled ethos of the famous franchise first introduced by Tinker Hatfield.
An augmented reality rendition of the OG Huarache, Nike FitAdapt technology allows wearers to customize their fit and feel based on personal presences, environments and situations.
Led by a midfoot motor linked to the Nike Adapt app, users will get recommendations on how to wear their shoe based on their activity. This could be running to catch a bus or busting a move on the dance floor.
