Nigel Sylvester and Jordan Brand have more on the way.
The BMX rider who officially joined the brand last fall was spotted in an all-new Air Jordan 1 High OG on October 11, coinciding with the release of his book, Nigel Sylvester: GO, that documents his career over the last several years.
“I’ve been very keen on getting back to the creative space since the release of my Jordan 1,” he said. “Now that I’m officially signed with the Jordan Brand, you can expect something coming soon,” Sylvester said in an exclusive interview with Nice Kicks when discussing his book, Nigel Sylvester: GO (available now).
The Air Jordan 1 High OG appears in a black leather upper with a mini Swoosh near the forefoot, a red outsole, and white/sail details on the laces, Swoosh, and midsole.
The design language and overall aesthetic follow the same cues from the first Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 1 High OG, which dropped in 2018 at the heart of the Air Jordan 1 craze: mini Swoosh, aged sail upper, and an aged red outsole.
A release date for the second Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 1 High OG has not been announced. However, we anticipate a release on SNRKS and select retailers in the coming months.
