Australian born Nick Kyrgois gets to battle the world’s best in his own backyard with the start of the Australian Open, in Melbourne, earlier this week.
To give him a little edge against his competitors, another Australian born world champion has lent remnants of his signature sneaker to Kyrgois’ cause.
The hybrid Nike Vapor X “Kyrie 5” keeps performance attributes in the realm of tennis while aesthetically the Kyrie 5 is at the forefront. Irving, who wore the shoe last night against the Brooklyn Nets, will be followed by a wear from Kyrgois in the earliest round of the Australian Open.
The Nike Vapor X “Kyrie 5” will release to the public on January 14.
