“Typically, I am a sneaker purist. The OG Air Max 97 in its classic silver is the shoe that got me started in the sneaker game. The Nike Air Max 97 PRM Tape “Blue Zebra” is such a departure from the classic, that I absolutely love it. True to its OG roots, this colorway is not for those looking to blend in. Back in ’97, the all silver upper with reflective details was about as in your face as we had seen. Nowadays, the sneaker boundaries have been pushed so far that this shoe, albeit loud, is not as outrageous as they come (J. Scott, anyone?). I would definitely cop these if they came in my size and were available Stateside.”
