This week was a big one for sneakers. It brought the much-anticipated release of the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse, including a number of very special colorways for the fast-approaching World Basketball Festival. Additionally, a certain staffer was brought a sense of nostalgia by the retro release of a certain “Neon” player’s old school signature.

Much like the Nike Air Force 1 Hi Light Charcoal/White that released this past week, this particular Air Force 1 is simple yet stylish in regards to the materials used. The black matte leather construction is something fresh and original as opposed to the regular leather sneakers we’re so used to seeing. Also, the 3M accent on the swoosh gives it a very nice secondary design cue.
