Just in time for the NBA Playoffs, a Moreno-Valley-inspired colorway makes its way to the New Balance Kawhi silhouette.
The release was no easy matter since Leonard had to seek approval from the city to use the official seal on the tongue. Using the colors of the seal, the upper is mixed with a light blue shade completed with hues of tan, brown, and yellow. Finishing touches include white and semi-translucent sole units.
Elsewhere, New Balance and Kawhi are donating a public basketball court and playground in Moreno Valley’s Weston Park. This charitable donation was made possible by New Balance and the NBA 2K Foundation.
