The New Balance 998 Core Joins the “Grey Day” Collection

New Balance is honoring the 30th anniversary of its 998 sneaker with a special release tied to the larger “Grey Day” Collection. Ronnie Fieg recently showed some love to the New Balance 998 with his “Broadacre City” series, which featured two iterations.

The New Balance 998 debuted in 1993 and New Balance brings back the original “Grey” colorway for the Summer 2023. introducing ABZORB cushioning in the midsole. The OG “Grey” version features a combination of mesh and pigskin suede materials, with a predominantly grey upper. Reflective silver “N” logos adorn the sides, while white laces and midsole contrast against a black and grey rubber outsole, completing the design.
