Although the majority of you are anticipating holiday releases centered around Thanksgiving and Christmas, we must take the time out to recognize a release that coincides with Veterans Day. Today, honors a special remembrance of our military veterans therefore, what did you do to honor them? New Balance answers that question by releasing a special 993 lineup inspired by the five branches of military. Each branch, including the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Coast Guard, is represented by their respective color scheme. Specifically, the color scheme on each sneaker draws inspiration from the respective branch’s recognizable seal. Also, this Heritage Collection was made in the USA; therefore, a United States flag is visible on the heel panel overlayed with the letters, USA.
