The New Balance 991 has seen performance upgrades added to its younger siblings, the 992 and 993. These have been a long time favorite of one of the greatest innovators (though, maybe not in the fashion sense) of the last century, Steve Jobs of Apple fame. The New Balance 991 “Made In USA” is now available for pre-order at Hanon in two new colorways. The first done in dark brown, and a second colorway in a lighter olive colorway. Both colorways are comprised of a mix of premium nubuck and mesh material, and sit a top a white midsole. Comfort is supplied by New Balance’s ABZORB cushioning technology.
