Under the creative direction of Teddy Santis, we’ve seen a slew of New Balance “Made in USA” sneakers release over the past couple of weeks, with the New Balance 990v2 “Marigold” being the latest. Taking things across the pond, the New Balance 991 “Made in U.K.” represents for NB’s other subline that uplifts premium craftsmanship and materials.
This New Balance 991 goes for a monochromatic approach with an entirely green upper. The overlays are crafted with green suede and matching mesh. The signature New Balance “N” is lined in white, but features a green center. New Balance 991 branding is embroidered in white on the tongue, while the back of the tongue features a “Made in U.K.” tag. To complete the look, the sneaker is finished with a white midsole, silver accents, and a black outsole.
