Following the release of the “Refined Future” 2002Rs, also known as the “Protection Pack,” comes the New Balance 57/40s. Being that the “Refined Future” 2002Rs was one of the most popular releases of the year, we expect major hype for the 57/40s.
The 57/40 edition of the “Protection Pack” has a similar appearance to the 2002Rs, with Sea Salt and Munsell White color blocking. The upper is made with a nylon base and a mix of jagged suede overlays that create a rugged look. For a pop of color, the sneaker includes Red branding on the tongue and a Blue mudguard on the back of the heel.
