The city of New Orleans has a lot to celebrate this week. Between winning the Super Bowl this past weekend, and Mardi Gras being this coming extended weekend, it’s safe to say that not much work is being done throughout the city. This “Mardi Gras” Pack from New Balance consists of two 525s, and provides nice opportunities to don the official colors of the French Quarter. The first pair utilizes a black leather base, with hits of patent near the collar. Green trim appears on the tongue, mid-panel and forefoot, while gold outlines the N logo. Purple also works its way in on the liner and heel trim. The other pair uses white instead, with black and purple attributes throughout. A flor de lis appears on the heel tab, while other special hints include the three bead dubrae and insole design.
