Nike‘s restored partnership with the NBA has been extremely fruitful in its first two seasons. Aside from on-court apparel success, the new deal has also been a towering triumph where sneakers are concerned. NBA team logo branded Air Force 1s with Supreme stand as the height of this partnership; now it will continue with Nike’s SB division.
Covered in a navy blue satin coat, a lush Nike SB Dunk Low was produced to ode the NBA’s vintage satin jackets. To that end, an accompanying jacket mimics the color of the shoes alongside red and white accents that match the NBA logo.
The tonal sneaker features waxed laces with matching brand work at the tongue and heel. In contrast, the NBA logo is placed behind the tongue. Release details for this NBA x Nike SB Pack has not yet been confirmed. Stay tuned.
Update 10/9: Nike SB reveals its upcoming NBA footwear collection due in stores on October 13. Keying on premium materials, a satin Dunk, tumbled leather Blazer and a suede Bruin all feature the NBA logo and will drop in accordance with an apparel offering.
