It’s no secret that Michael Jordan has some loot. I mean, just look in your closet and see how much you alone account for. But Jordan is far beyond just rich these days. It’s now a heightened level of wealth, in which MJ continues to climb within the ranks of the most wealthy in the world. Forbes recently added his airiness to their list of the richest billionaires in the world, where he ranks 1,741st.
Reaching the billionaire mark sometime last year, Jordan is now among the wealthiest people living. A list that includes Nike co-founder Phil Knight, who ranks significantly higher than Jordan as the 35th richest person in the world with a new worth of $21.5 billion. So although Michael has a ways to go to catch Knight, and several others, this milestone is a historic one.
