At the beginning of this month, we learned that Michael Jordan would be gracing the cover of the soon-to-be-released NBA 2K11 video game. Although the game is set to hit stores on October 5th, 2010, we have just came across the actual video cover.
Of course, the video game/sneaker culture is ecstatic about this upcoming video game; yet, Michael Jordan himself seems to be just as delighted. “It’s exciting to see it all come together,” said Jordan. “I am looking forward to seeing the final product, but my kids might have to give me some lessons.”
As of now, no details regarding how MJ will be incorporated into the actual game has released, however, the 2K Sports team is assuring its consumers of a classic video game. “We’re very confident that this year will not only be the best basketball game we’ve ever put out, but the best basketball game that’s ever been put out,” said Jason Argent, vice president of marketing at 2K Sports.
On the sneaker side of this happening, who else hopes the sneaker detailing is on point? Better yet, what sneakers will Jordan will be wearing in this game?
