Over the years, adidas has tapped various brands, artists, and franchises to rework its iconic Superstar silhouette. For the Spring 2023 season ahead, the sportswear giant has tapped Finnish textile and clothing company Marimekko for an eye-catching redesign.
The upcoming Marimekko x adidas Superstar features a classic white leather construction accented with an abstract print by Marimekko’s classic Unikko floral pattern arriving on the Three Stripes branding and heels. Further elevating the pair are the co-branded tongues and “Superstar” verbiage embossed into the laterals. Lastly, the pair is rounded off with an iconic shell toe and herringbone-pattern rubber outsole for added durability.
