Marathon World Record Broken in adidas adizero Adios Boost

adidas runner Dennis Kimetto ran the fastest marathon in history with the help of adidas BOOST technology at the 2014 Berlin Marathon. With a time of 2:02:57, Kimetto shattered the previous world record by an incredible 26 seconds wearing the lightweight adizero Adios BOOST racing flat. The second place men’s finisher Emmanuel Muthai also broke the previous world record wearing adidas BOOST-equipped shoes. Completing adidas’ dominant performance at the Berlin Marathon, the top two female runners, Tirfi Tsegaye and Fayse Tadese, were also wearing the Adios BOOST.
