NYC’s-own global luxury footwear brand for women and femmes, Lilith, has released two new colorways of their signature Caudal Lure sneaker. Reimaged in “Purple Sunsets” and “Kali Blue,” Lilith adds new finishings but keeps the same premium comfort intact.
The Lilith NYC Caudal Lure sneaker first debuted in “Concrete Jungle Green” and “Amberlou Brick,” with the colorways being inspired by the Tamil culture and New York City upbringing of Lilith NYC’s Founder and CEO, Sarah Sukumaran.
The latest iterations of the Lilith NYC Caudal Lure stay true to form in monochrome colorways, but tell new stories centered around Sri Lanka and a Hindu goddess.
Adorned in a hypnotic shade of lavender, the Lilith NYC Caudal Lure “Purple Sunsets” is inspired by the pink and purple hues of the tropical sunsets in Sri Lanka, with pink, milky, sweet falooda found in the kades of Pettah.
The eye-catching Lilith NYC Caudal Lure “Kali Blue” is inspired by Kali Ma, the Hindu goddess of death, time, and ultimate power. She is regarded as a strong maternal figure and symbol of motherly love – the embodiment of divine feminine energy and creativity.
All of Lilith’s sneakers are handcrafted in Portugal and are made with a harmonious blend of top-quality luxury and performance materials. Each pair features tonal uppers fashioned from the finest selection of suede, nubuck, and natural cowhide leathers. Each pair sits atop a lightweight, high abrasion EVA Vibram outsole designed to enhance your every stride. Lilith also elevates the silhouette even further by adding a new premium toebox strap that features hardware engraved with the brand’s signature logo.
With Lilith, you never have to worry about breaking in your sneakers as the Caudal Lure is equipped with in-heel cushioning that prevents blisters and rubbing. However, it is recommended that purchasers size up a half size, but Lilith offers all half sizes in a full size range from a US Women’s 5 – 14.5.
