This career transition will be eased by something a little more consistent in Wade’s life, his ongoing partnership with Chinese sportswear brand Li-Ning. Today, they’ve announced official release details for his fifth signature silhouette – the Li-Ning Way of Wade 5.
The shoe’s first colorway is this “White Volt” edition, which highlights a lightweight mesh build accompanied by a unique layering of textiles and reflective materials. The sole unit elects for a semi-clear volt rubber execution in the forefoot with solid grey in the heel. The sole is supported with an internal carbon fiber mid foot shank.
This progressive new style takes cues from the WoW 4 while equally updating the performance model with new tech and clear lifestyle implications. Surely, much like its predecessor, premium and collaborative renderings will follow this inaugural release.
