All week Nike has celebrated the game of basketball with the city of New York. ?As much as NYC has been a wonderful host to the first ever World Basketball Festival, Nike has been a wonderful guest giving back to the city in a number of ways. ?Yesterday morning at the famed Rucker Park in Harlem, five time NBA Champion Kobe Bryant worked with kids of NYC on their fundamentals in a special clinic that few will ever forget.
While a moment of pause?occurred?when Kobe stepped onto the court, it was only moments later that it was down to business. ?Right away Kobe had the kids working on their defensive posture and lateral movements on the court followed by work on jump shots. ?Following the 3 station clinic, Kobe gave inspiration words to the attendees of the morning events about what the love of the game means to him followed by a quick Q/A with Nike.
