Kobe Bryant, the villain in purple and gold, for the better part of two decades has been one of the most hated men by opposing teams and their fans. Bryant, though, unlike others of his kind, relished in the angst, the anger. One might even say he orchestrated it.

In Nike’s new Mamba Day short film “The Conductor”, Bryant acts as the ultimate symphony leader when he helms a stadium full of hateful fans in an ode to their disdain for his very being. Cameos from the likes of Phil Jackson, Paul Pierce and Rasheed Wallace add a personal touch and comedy relief to the film.

Directed by Mark Romanek and developed in partnership with Wieden+Kennedy Portland, give the film a look below and stay tuned for more Mamba Day coverage right here at Nice Kicks.
